Reema Finally Told About Her Love

After over two decades in the spotlight,Reema still comes across queries as mundane as “when will you get married?”However, she answers them with enthusiasm of a giddy teen.
Dressed in a white outfit as she frequently adjusts her bangs and tosses her hair with carefully placed extenstions,it’s hard to imagine that she has been around for over 22 years, leaving one wondering if she has been under the knife. But more than the looks, it is effort she has made to move on from being a starlet to a marketabel celebrity she is her best publicist.

Meera Is Beginning Her Career In Television With HAK

In 2010, Meera Declared that she was beginning her “full-fledged” career in television with Husn Ara Kaun (HAK). By calling herself a women’s rights champion then, she went on to add that the character was close to her heart.
Having spent over a decade and half in show business and well known for her foot in mouth gaffes, her assertion about a Tv career proved to be another gem, as HAK actually marks the end of her acting career.
A sequel of Husna aur Husn Ara, HAK follows the life of Husn Ara (Meera) after she leaves her ankle bells behind in the pursuit of a better life.Shedding the persona of a glorified nautch girl,of all possible jobs in the world, she ends up becoming a maid in the haveli of the tyrant feudal Malik Jahandad (Aurangzeb Laghari).
There she meets his oppressed wives,Zeenat (Samina Ahmed) and Rukhsana ( Sarah Gilani ) and his younger sister Bakhtawar ( Sana Raiz ). While Malik starts to develop feelings for Husn Ara,Bakhtawar falls madly in love with  Noor ( the late Bilal Khan ). In between all this is the character of Zafardad (Shameel Khan ) who also has a score to settle with jahandad. Along the way,he too ends up falling for the lowly maid.
Known for her polished performance in Khilona,Meera is now a shadow of her former self. Her acting skills seem to be wanning and her deliberate attempts at either shrieking like a teen or sounding husky while trying to look serious makes matters much worse.
